Merit Aid
More than half of the students receive merit aid, with awards ranging from $10,000 to full tuition. No additional application is required as all merit aid is awarded through the admissions process. Candidates, however, have to apply by the Priority deadline (second round) for best consideration.
The merit-aid awards are awarded on the following criteria, without regard to financial need:
- Academic performance
- GMAT/GRE scores
- Professional experience
- Application strength
Dean’s Fellowships
Dean’s Fellowships which provide two years of full tuition are awarded to exceptional students who have showcased exceptional profiling in their work experience, test scores, undergraduate performance, leadership potential and admissions interview. These students will have access to the Kelley Dean’s Council, a group of leaders from some of the most important companies in the world.
Forté Fellowships
Forté’s mission is to help female business leaders and support their career with business education and networks. Female students named Forté Fellows will receive an award ranging from $15,000 up to full tuition fellowship for each of their two years in the Kelley MBA Program.

Applicants will have to submit one recommendation. The choice of recommender should be someone who can comment meaningfully on your professional performance. A current or recent supervisor is preferred. Kindly note that the recommendations are also due by the application deadline.

Who can give a recommendation: You will have to provide details of one recommender who can be your reporting manager/ previous manager/ senior colleague/ current client/ previous client/ business partner/ supplier/ auditor etc.
How a letter of recommendation should be written: The recommender should add specific instances/examples of the candidate’s professional work together.
How to send the letter of recommendation: The recommender should send the recommendation from the official email id only. If the recommender does not have an official id – then a proof that you reported / or was supervised by this person should be attached.
