There are three essays that interested candidates will have to send:
Essay 1: Post-MBA Career Goals: Define your short-term post-MBA career goals. How are your professional strengths, past experience, and personal attributes aligned with these goals?

Essay 2: Leadership in Business: The business school is named for Roberto C. Goizueta, a former Chairman, and CEO of the Coca-Cola Company who led the organization for 16 years, extending its global reach, quadrupling consumption, building brand responsibility, creating unprecedented shareholder wealth, and demonstrating a commitment to values and posit impact on society. Roberto Goizueta’s core values guide us in educating principled leaders to have a positive influence on business and society. Provide a specific example of your leadership and explain what you learned about yourself through the experience.

Essay 3: Why Goizueta?: What are you looking to gain from the Goizueta MBA program and how do you see yourself contributing to the Goizueta community?

Video Essay:
Candidates should also prepare for a video essay which lets them talk to the Admissions Committee. Here are some of the useful instructions:
- Students will be prompted to start the video essay process by first testing their equipment (video and sound). Once the student has acknowledged that he or she has tested their audio and video, the video essay process starts.
- A system-generated question will be displayed and students will have 30 seconds to arrange their thoughts to answer their question. There will be a visual timer countdown on the screen.
- Candidates will have up to 60 seconds to respond with their answers and after finishing, candidates may review their recording. If satisfied, candidates can proceed to the next page of the application.
- The system will allow 3 opportunities to record the video essay. However, each opportunity could present a different question.

Emory requires two letters of recommendation that are to be submitted online. Candidates are requested to choose at least one person who knows you well in your current position such as a direct supervisor, project manager, or client.

Who can give a recommendation: You will have to provide details of one recommender who can be your reporting manager/ previous manager/ senior colleague/ current client/ previous client/ business partner/ supplier/ auditor etc.
How a letter of recommendation should be written: The recommender should add specific instances/examples of the candidate’s professional work together.
How to send the letter of recommendation: The recommender should send the recommendation from the official email id only. If the recommender does not have an official id – then proof that you reported / or was supervised by this person should be attached.
