Global Leaders from India MBA Scholarship Program
The Global Leaders from India program provides up to five merit scholarships to the full-time MBA program. It covers a minimum of half of the tuition for students from India. The scholarships will be awarded to the strongest candidates based on academic and professional accomplishments, as well as leadership potential. Every Indian citizen applying to Yale will be considered for the Global Leaders from India scholarship; no additional step is required.

Yale offers one essay question to their candidates:
“Describe the biggest commitment you have ever made.”
Candidates should note that the content of their essay is as important as their topic. Candidates should keep in mind to point to the specific actions taken, over time, to bolster their commitment.
Video Question:
Upon submitting the application and paying the application fee, candidates will receive access to the video questions. Kindly note that the video questions are a component of the MBA application.
Candidates will receive three randomized questions asked by an admissions team member. After the question has been asked, two of the questions will allow for 20 seconds to the candidates to gather their thoughts and 60 seconds to deliver an answer. The third question will allow 30 seconds to prepare and 90 seconds to respond. Candidates need not fill the entire response time.

Who can give a recommendation: You will have to provide details of one recommender who can be your reporting manager/ previous manager/ senior colleague/ current client/ previous client/ business partner/ supplier/ auditor etc.
How a letter of recommendation should be written: The recommender should add specific instances/examples of the candidate’s professional work together.
How to send the letter of recommendation: The recommender should send the recommendation from the official email id only. If the recommender does not have an official id – then a proof that you reported / or was supervised by this person should be attached.
