constructed with the
Constructed with the finest Italian marble, the floor of the church is its greatest attraction and is more attractive to tourists than are its ornate stained-glass windows.
(A) attraction and is more attractive to tourists than are its ornate stained-glass windows
(B) attraction, itself more attractive to tourists than are its ornate stained-glass windows
(C) attraction, itself more attractive to tourists as are its ornate stained-glass windows
(D) attraction, being more attractive to tourists than its ornate stained-glass windows are
(E) attraction as it more is attractive to tourists than are the church’s stained- glass windows
how do we come down to B? Please help me eliminate Options
option c – eliminated because we are doing a comparison and use of ‘as’ is irrelevant
option a – eliminated because it again uses verb ‘is’ after ‘and.’
option d – eliminated because ‘the floor’ is attractive and not ‘being attractive’ to the visitors; and improper use of verb ‘are’ .
option e- eliminated because ‘more’ is improperly placed and we should use pronoun ‘its’ in place of ‘the church’s ‘ in the end.
these are my logic’s and might be wrong.

Hi Riya,
Please check the source of this question. Request you to mention the source when posting the question going forward. None of the options here are correct. Option B which is mentioned as the correct answer also has an error in the usage of “itself”. The sentence implies that the floor itself has windows
