The answer given is option C. But isn’t use of relative modifier ‘Which’ incorrect here? Doesn’t it seem to refer to harrowing life ?

Isn’t D better option ?

both are incorrect.

I do not think “which” is allowed to jump over participles like “describing”.

Also “winning accolades …” does not make sense as a modifier.
