Hi Prem,

Statement 1 gives us two values of x, +3 and -3, so we get a YES and a NO. Insufficient.

Statement 2 tells us that x is in between root 10 and – (root 10). Since root 10 is slightly greater than 3, we again get a YES and a NO. Insufficient.

Combining we know that x can only take 2 values, +3 and -3 (both these values satisfy the second statement and the first statement simultaneously). Insufficient.
