a is given as the right choice, whereas I feel b. is a more appropriate choice. Please comment

- Considered as is an incorrect idiom
- Elizabeth herself was not overshadowed by her husband’s success. It was her success that was overshadowed by that of her husband

- As per the meaning, Elizabeth is better poet than her husband. Later his success overshadowed her.
- Option B gives a distorted meaning using although.
Option A is better than B.
