Can you show the alligation diagram for this one?
A glucose solution contains 15 grams of glucose per 100 cubic centimeters of solution. If 45 cubic centimeters of the solution were poured into an empty container, how many grams of glucose would be in the container?
(A) 3.00
(B) 5.00
(C) 5.50
(D) 6.50
(E) 6.75
Hi Kukrejaria,
How you use alligation here ? Alligation method is helpful only when you have a resultant solution.
This is just a straight forward ratio question.
15 gram = 100 cubic centimetres
then 45 cubic centimetres = how many grams ?
So,
15/100 = ? / 45
So, ? = 6.75
So the answer is E.
Hope it is clear.
I solved it the same way, but i thought we could use alligation method.
